Washington Easter

In Washington, USA, Easter is a time of joy and celebration. As a tourist, I had the pleasure of being a part of Washington’s Easter celebrations and had an unforgettable vacation.

For starters, Washington’s Easter celebrations typically take place on the National Mall, a vast public space that gathers many important attractions and monuments. When I stepped onto the National Mall, I was surrounded by buzz and cheers. People dress up in all kinds of gorgeous costumes, bring eggs and Easter decorations, and gather to celebrate this special holiday.

On the National Mall, I saw a series of colorful activities and performances. There are concerts, dance shows, clown and circus shows, and all kinds of entertainment. Children run and play on the grass, happily searching for Easter eggs hidden in the grass. Get in the festive spirit of Easter with this joyful scene.

Washington’s Easter celebrations also include grand parades. The parade features a variety of people and performing groups, including dance teams, music teams, floats and giant balloons. People cheered, clapped and cheered on the participants along the parade route. I stood on the side of the road, enjoying the joy and excitement of the parade passing by.

Many Washington attractions and museums also host special events and exhibits during Easter. I visited the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, both of which display special exhibits related to aviation, spaceflight, and nature. This is a great opportunity to learn more about science and history, and spend quality time with the family.

In addition, during Easter, restaurants and cafes in Washington will launch special Easter menus and delicacies. I tasted some traditional Easter food, such as roast lamb and egg pie. These delicacies made me feel the festive atmosphere and culture even more.
